Which WhatsApp exports work?
Both iPhone and Android exports, as .txt or .zip. Partner Evidence handles the different date and time formats the two platforms produce.
Do my chats get sent anywhere?
Not for the basic features. Parsing your chat and building your activity map happens inside your browser. AI search is optional and off by default — if you turn it on, we tell you exactly what gets processed first.
What file types can I upload?
Photos as JPEG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC, and documents as PDF, images and text files.
Can I organise everything before choosing what to export?
Yes. You can add, date, caption and group your material first, then decide what belongs in a particular evidence pack. Only the items you select are included in that pack.
Can I change dates, captions or categories later?
Yes. You can update the organising details before you export. Editing those details does not change your original file.
Can I download a complete copy of my case?
Yes. You can create PDF packs from selected items and a complete ZIP archive with an evidence register for your records.
Does Partner Evidence score my relationship?
No. Counts and activity views are neutral organising tools. They are not a score, a judgment about your relationship or an assessment of whether your evidence is sufficient.
How does optional AI chat search work?
It stays off until you activate it. When enabled, it helps search imported conversations and links each answer back to the original messages so you can check the source and context yourself.
Does Partner Evidence submit my application?
No. It creates downloadable evidence packs for you to review and use in the appropriate application process. It does not lodge forms or send evidence to the government for you.
Can I organise evidence into the four partner-visa categories?
Yes. You can organise material under financial, household, social and commitment categories. Those labels help with structure; they do not decide whether an item will be accepted or whether you have enough evidence.
Where is my data stored?
The primary Supabase database is configured in Sydney, Australia. Private files use Cloudflare R2 with an Oceania location hint. Cloudflare says location hints are best-effort rather than a legal guarantee that every copy or operation stays in Australia. Some service providers process limited information overseas.
What exactly is removed after 24 months of inactivity?
The inactivity process removes uploaded photo and document files, their file records and related extracted text or photo metadata, the original uploaded chat-export file, and generated export files. It is a file-retention process, not automatic deletion of the entire account or case.
